Description

This is a tow release mechanism "Colorado Style". I convinced a friend  that he needed a release on his 35% composite arf...the rest is history. Tows my Nimbus 4 (19lbs) to 2000 feet in 20 seconds with authority.

This simple yet effective tow release is strong and reliable. A control rod is strung through the hold in the release mechanism to hold the tow line, and is released when the servo pulls the control rod out of the release mechanism.

If you have friends flying the 35%, convince them to install our release mechanism and tow planes are always available (and can hover TOO!)
