The wait is finally over! The Vulture is Skip Miller Models new competition F3J model at the right price.

Construction:
The Vulture is molded in accurate CNC molds, and uses the advanced molding techniques that is required for F3J models. The skins are made out of a sandwich of rohacell and carbon or glass depending on the layup. The spars are molded outside of the wing in their own mold creating a strong light and accurate spar. These advanced techniques allow the model to be strong and light.

Design:
The Vulture is designed with influences from the Satori, Perfect, and Xplorer combining the great attributes of each model. This allows the Vulture to be a very user friendly design while still getting the results. The wing span was design to be 3.5 meter to keep a fast and high launch. The current trend of larger models is also slowing the launches down significantly so it was important to keep this model with an optimum 3.5 meter wing span.

With the large flaps and ailerons the Vulture is a breeze to land. It slows down to a crawl and still has full control to hit the hundred.

The trend in Europe are large V-tails. In the past v-tails were way undersized which gave them a bad reputation in the US as models were more prone to tip stalls and bad landing characteristics. After seeing Europe start using large v-tails and seeing all of these problems fixed it was decided to design a large V-tail for the Vulture. We know it is not the most popular choice, but we know once you fly it your opinion will change about V-tails. The large V-tail really works when we were trying to spin the model the Vulture acted exactly like a cross tail model with no bad habits at all. With landing the model has plenty on control and authority so those last sec corrections and quick pushes to the landing area will be no problem at all.
