Electric RL has the same wing plan form as the F3J RL, but the wings 4
ounces lighter. The fuselage has been completely redesigned to fit the
NEU 1506/3Y motor with 6.7 gearbox, Phoenix 80 controller, Graupner
20x12 prop, and 8S-2100 NEU battery pack. With this power system the RL
will climb 100 ft/sec. This setup is perfect for competition fly and
makes the model weight 83 ounces, but if you wanted the RL for sport
flying you could use a lighter less powerful setup you could make the
RL weight in the low 70's.
