The Aero Sport 5 is a 2.4GHz 5-channel full-range radio featuring a toggle channel for retracts, mechanical trims, servo reversing, and mixing for V-tail and delta/elevons (for flying wings). Included is a 5-channel full-range horizontal-pin receiver.

Just like in years past, Aero Sport has partnered with a proven R/C maker to ensure your Aero Sport radio is reliable and trustworthy. Aero Sport has licensed PROVEN Airtronics/Sanwa Full-Range FHSS-1 Frequency Hopping 2.4GHz technology. When you fly Aero Sport you know you're flying a rock-solid radio! And, because of this compatibility, the Aero Sport works with all Airtronics FHSS-1 receivers.

The Aero Sport 5 is a dry-battery system uses 4 AA-size cells in the transmitter. It can easily be converted to rechargeables if desired. The conversion is affordable and easy. Please see our recommended accessory items list for suggested batteries and charger.

Aero Sport is compatible with the vast majority of both digital and analog servos on the market today. The plugs are modern Airtronics "Z" type which are universal within the industry today.
